DO NOT OPEN THE TESTS UNTIL YOU’RE READY TO USE
FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW TO DETERMINE WHEN YOUR OVULATION SUPERPOWERS ARE ACTIVATED.
These tests determine when your LH Surge happens, which is the hormone that stimulates the release of an egg.
When an LH Surge is detected, ovulation will begin 24-48 hours
STEP 1 - DECIDE WHEN TO BEGIN TESTING
Determine the length of your menstrual cycle before taking the test
(The length of the menstrual cycle is the duration from your first menstrual bleeding day to the day before the next bleeding begins).
Use this chart to determine when you should start testing.
(For example, if your cycle length is 26 days, start testing on day 9)
If you do not know your cycle length, you may begin the test 11 days after your first period since the average cycle length is 28 days.
The ideal time for ovulation test is in the afternoon, though testing may take place from 10am to early evening.
Keep Testing for 4 - 5 days or until a positive LH Surge is detected.
STEP 2 - TAKE THE TEST
Get a little cup you can pee into and go for it!
Dip the end of the strip in your pee for 3 - 5 seconds
Then lay the strip flat and set a timer for 5 minutes
STEP 3 - READ YOUR RESULTS
NEGATIVE RESULT
Negative (No LH Surge): Only one line is visible or the test line is lighter than the control line.
POSITIVE RESULT
Positive (LH Surge): If two color lines are visible and the test line is equal to or darker than the control line. A positive result indicates the presence of a high amount of Luteinizing Hormone or LH surge.
Ovulation will occur within 24 - 48 hours of a positive test.
Get out there superwoman, this is your time to (literally) shine.

FAQ

You might have missed your LH surge.
Get more strips and try again next cycle, start earlier and test later.
If you don’t get a positive result, it could be a signal that you have a hormonal imbalance to explore.
-
If you have a copper coil, you will still ovulate.
If you have a Mirena, you can usually start ovulating after a year.
If you are on other types of hormonal contraception, you won’t be ovulating. You may want to consider alternative types of contraception that allow your body to ovulate, because it can help you stay healthy longer term.

No. Test results must be read at 5 minutes.
Though a positive result should not change for several days, a negative result may change to a false positive within minutes after the end of the testing period, which would not be an accurate reading.
It is always best to read the results at the 5 minute testing period and then discard the test to avoid confusion.
