We’ve been shamed around our periods, the media won’t even show blood in commercials about products that are supposed to support something we do EVERY month for over 30 years and if we work, we can’t show any signs or symptoms for fear of being held back.
With all of this, it’s no wonder we see our periods as an affliction and inconvenience. Something we must hide and suppress, but for many of us this means it can be painful, debilitating and confusing the further disconnected we get.
